THE ENGINEERS ARE COMING!
18 Apr 2012
LOGOV Expo 2012 will be held on 10 and 11 of October this year due to the relocation of the school holidays.
LOGOV Manager Adam Hain is proud to announce that the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia (IPWEA) and its members will be getting behind LOGOV again this year.
The Chief Executive Officer Suzanna Barnes-Gillard of the Queensland branch of IPWEA, has personally guaranteed that the attendees from their state conference will be bussed in again as usual, not including the attendees from across the state that will otherwise come on their own accord.
While it’s obviously business as usual, with LOGOV delivering the right people to exhibitors, an unprecedented event is occurring. The marketing and overall support of the event by the host Council at Moreton Bay is beyond anything we’ve experienced before.
Moreton Bay Regional Council is proud to be associated with the much-anticipated LOGOV Expo 2012.
Council Chief Executive Officer John Rauber said he was expecting the event – to be held 10 and 11 October – to be the biggest on record.
“The LOGOV Expo already has the reputation of being Queensland's premier exposition of construction plant, materials, equipment and services to government and engineering professionals,” he said. “Moreton Bay Regional Council is 100 per cent behind the relocation of this exciting event to its new home at Caboolture. “Council has partnered with the event’s organisers to make sure it’s the must-attend event for any business wanting to expose their products and services to government and engineering decision-makers. “In Moreton Bay Region, we've got it all....and that now includes Queensland’s premier showcase of construction products, services, plant and equipment. “Moreton Bay Regional Council looks forward to welcoming as many businesses as possible to our beautiful region and will be helping organisers promote and deliver a very successful LOGOV Expo 2012.”
Further Updates from the LOGOV manager:
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome on board the 80 plus exhibitors that have secured a site already - you have put us ahead of schedule. The overwhelming feedback to date has been terrific towards the move to the new location in Caboolture as many already know it from the Farm Fantastic show at the same site. I have had feedback from companies that have attended events all around the country and this new site is deemed as the best in Australia with its crowning land, loam surface and easy access. I would also like to announce that we will be introducing some exciting new additions to the event, including a corporate onsite air-conditioned venue for business dignitaries to attend a breakfast hosted by Moreton Bay Regional Council.
Also we will be seeing a massive onsite big screen with live feeds from the dig site and interviews with exhibitors. Yes that’s right the dig site is back for the first time in many years and it will be a smash! Add an onsite radio station playing live across the region and the LOGOV site, as well as live music around the grounds, LOGOV will be the have fun at work event of the year.
I can’t wait to meet you all and I will see you there.
