CALL FOR CREATIVE DIRECTOR FOR 2017 FESTIVAL OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is now seeking expressions of interest for the role of Creative Director for the 2017 Festival of Landscape Architecture. Individuals, practices, schools of landscape architecture, or collaborative teams are encouraged to apply.
The 2017 Festival of Landscape Architecture will be held in Sydney, NSW, during October/November 2017.
Building on successful Festivals in Brisbane (2014), Melbourne (2015) and Canberra (2016), the 2017 Creative Directors will be tasked with developing the content and theme for this large-scale event.
The Festival of Landscape Architecture has been designed to engage with landscape architects, students, universities, government, the community and public. The events involved in the Festival will be wide ranging and include a student program, Welcome Reception, two-day Conference, National Landscape Architecture Awards Presentation, AILA Annual General Meeting, National Council and State Presidents meeting, public talks, tours and exhibitions.
Expression of interest submissions must be received by 5pm AEST on Monday 8 August 2016.
