‘STATIC’ TIMBER AND RECYCLED PLASTIC EXERCISE SYSTEMS

20 Apr 2015

Fitness Trails scores top marks with its ‘static’ timber exercise systems, which have been specified by councils and landscape architects Australia-wide.

Recently, Fitness Trails’ Australian hardwood outdoor exercise trails and clusters, which have been installed by the Sydney City Council in Sydney Park and Prince Alfred Park (NSW), have captured the attention of Landscape Architects who have specified them for several more projects in NSW as well as in Victoria, South Australia and the ACT.

The static system i.e. the equipment has no moving parts, is a reason for sound purchasing by councils, residential and corporate developers, prisons, schools (primary to tertiary) - in fact any group requiring outdoor exercise equipment. They provide low whole of life costs, minimal maintenance and no catch points.

MaterialsIn addition to timber, Fitness Trails also fabricates its kits from environmentally-friendly recycled plastic. These recycled plastic kits were an international first.

GraphicsFitness Trails promotes effective and safe exercising which is further achieved with the high quality graphics that accompany each outdoor fitness trail or cluster.

Fitness Trails Outdoor Exercise SystemsThe fitness trails/circuits or clusters are available in systems or the exercise equipment can be customised.

The success of the Fitness Trails concept two-fold – not only is it physically beneficial, but the exercise equipment is safe, durable, attractive, environmentally-friendly, sustainable and easy to maintain.

Founded in 1985, Fitness Trails has installed over 500 fitness trails and outdoor exercise clusters in Australia and more than 100 in the UK, Japan and New Zealand.  More recently Fitness Trails has expanded to the US where an Amish company fabricates kits for that market.
