Australia's only specialist trade and professional building expo DesignBUILD makes an exciting return to Melbourne this year, June 23 to 25 at the Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Co-located with the CEDIA expo and the annual Plumbing Design Show, Design BUILD will showcase all that’s new, innovative and sustainable for construction trades and property industry professionals including architects, specifiers, landscape architects, contractors, sub contractors and tradespeople in landscaping and outdoor sectors.
Dedicated zones including Outdoor Design, Green BUILD, Applications in Action and Tools and Safety offer a unique opportunity for you and your business to stay ahead of client expectations and cement your reputation at the leading edge of design innovation.
The new look 2010 event features the largest and most comprehensive exhibit of domestic and international specialist planning, building and construction companies and their products available in Australia.
With over 450 exhibitors displaying thousands of products, this year’s expo has been designed with ease of movement and convenience in mind.
By separating the space into 15 distinct areas, trade professionals will be able to navigate easily through sections including Infotech, Building Materials, Outdoor Design, Construction Equipment and Finishes and Coatings.
Reflecting the corporate responsibility the industry faces to minimise impact on the environment, DesignBUILD 2010 focuses heavily on advancements in sustainable building approaches. The dedicated Green Build zone will include live demonstrations, the latest ideas and environment friendly solutions - ultimately presenting the future of design and construction.
Rather than remain theoretical, the Applications in Action program runs thoughout the show and offers you an exclusive opportunity to see live-working demonstrations of the latest building materials and their applications direct from manufacturers.
A series of specifically designed CPD trade seminars for industry professionals on sustainable building will be held throughout the three days. All of the sessions carry CPD points for builders and architects and offer a fantastic opportunity to expand your professional development. A full program of times and topics is available at www.designbuildexpo.com.au.
Understanding the ever increasing importance of staying 'ahead of the game', DesignBUILD Exhibition Manager Steve Horsley is excited about unveiling the 2010 winner of the prestigious "Innovation Alley" award.
Judged by industry experts, the dedicated display of the latest and most innovative products available in the market covers all building categories featured throughout DesignBUILD.
"We have chosen the 50 most dynamic and exciting product and technology developments from the thousands of products on display at the expo to give businesses access to the suppliers and manufacturers and present a snapshot of the industry’s future in Australia,” said Mr Horsley.
Raising awareness on the importance of education within the building and design industry, DesignBUILD 2010 is also offering free attendance for students and apprentices. New to the 2010 expo is the Foundations Program, linking the next generation of up-and coming professionals with the products, training and opportunities available within the industry.
Australia's only 100 per cent trade orientated exhibition offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the forefront of design and construction.
DesignBUILD 2010 Melbourne is open to anyone professionally involved in the building and construction industry.
