A host of Interior Design Students from Melbourne Polytechnic, in collaboration with Eussen Living, are coming together to create a showcase of innovative ideas that explore future interior design trends.
Students from the Faculty of Design at Melbourne Polytechnic will collaborate with industry partners to curate a ‘pop up’ space in Prahran, Victoria. The focus of the space will be creative thinking, innovation and visualising spaces for the future.
This live project will hone in on the pragmatic realisation of the design concept in a real space, and on the creative use of modern and traditional materials and products in an urban environment.
Two students from the Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration will be chosen by an industry panel to have their designs brought to life in the space at 140 High St, Prahran. The students will use products sourced from project sponsors and of course, the opportunity to bring their skills and talent to a real-life environment.
The Melbourne Polytechnic Live Styling event runs from October to November 2016.
Follow along with the project, see the full list of sponsors and meet students, teachers and industry at www.melbournepolytechnic.edu.au/livestyling
