The award-winning Buzon Pedestal can be used with pavers, timber decking and steel grating to create raised floors on balconies, terraces, green roofs, temporary floors and water features. Capable of accommodating heights from 17mm-850mm, it allows unsightly plumbing and electrical services to be concealed under the floor.
More importantly it offers easy access for the repair and maintenance of waterproofing membranes. The use of Buzon Pedestal reduces the weight bearing loads on concrete slabs by eliminating the use of sand and cement mortar beds.
The Buzon Pedestal incorporates a patented slope-correcting device, which compensates for a substrate fall of 0-5%, to provide a perfectly level floor finish.
The interchangeable spacer tabs allow for 2mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm gaps between pavers, providing positive drainage and allowing for internal and external floor finishes to be at the same level, with no concern of flooding. In addition the pedestal also reduces sound
transmission and increases the thermal insulation of roofs.
Designed, manufactured and tested in Belgium, the Buzon pedestal is made from high strength, UV stable, recycled polypropylene and capable of supporting 1,000kg.
