Installing two bouldering units in a new playspace in Wollert, Blade Recreation has contributed a range of challenging climbing activities for kids of all ages, from local tiny tots to teen adventurers.
Working in collaboration with landscape architecture firm MDG, Blade Recreation and strategic partners Industrial by Nature have assisted in the creation of a multifaceted local play area at Aurora Estate in Wollert, Victoria.
The new playspace features two Blade Bouldering units, a Junior, for smaller children, and an Edge, a more challenging design suitable for older children and teens with enhanced climbing capabilities.
Bouldering is challenging, physical play for people of all ages wherein the climber uses their hands and feet to climb and cling to the boulder, moving from hold to hold. The structures have been specifically designed to accommodate easy, moderate and difficult climbing routes so that almost anyone can get involved. With so many different climbing routes available, a bouldering unit like the Edge or Titan will provide continual challenges for any ambitious climber.
Blade Recreation’s Bouldering range consists of four standard models, catering for young children right through to active teens. Each model incorporates many challenging levels of play that will add a new dimension to an existing playground or provide an amazing focal point in new playspace developments.
The full selection of bouldering units from Blade are manufactured in Australia, meet Australian Standards, and are fabricated using proven, hard wearing components and materials. Bold, contemporary colours make these Australian-designed and -built structures an attractive and welcome addition to any play area.
Blade Recreation’s partnership with Industrial by Nature has produced a number of highly successful recreational products, a range which continues to grow with the ongoing development of niche products for outdoor space.
