Covering a space of 30,000m², the resort will be made up of hotel rooms and private condominiums.
The hotel’s twisted loop will be mounted in a glass facade which will create naturally bright interiors. At night, the glass will become a screen on the lower levels, with an LED system creating a media screen. In addition, the hotel will feature a swimming pool suspended in a belt, to link the dual cores of the building.
The modern façade will be lined with lush sky gardens, which will create a sloping line of greenery from ground to roof to create harmony between nature and architecture. The sky gardens bring the calm of nature and green space to guests, who can find solitude and peace on one of the many grassy gardens. Guests can also enjoy views and fresh air on the hotel’s rooftop sky deck.
Designed by Planning Korea Designs, the resort is due for completion in 2016, and is located just 5km from the Olympic stadiums and facilities.
