Unseen for many years, Landscaping Victoria had seven members nominate for three board positions resulting in an election at its recent AGM.
In a situation unseen for many years Landscaping Victoria had seven members nominate for three board positions resulting in an election at its recent AGM.
The election result was as follows:
Paul Trotter - PTA Landscapes - Commercial
Scott Tymkin - Ian Barker & Assoc. - Landscape Builder
Gary Winter - Diligent Landscapes
The Board will work with the unsuccessful candidates Luke Waterhouse (Ausland), David Franklin (Franklin Landscape Design & Construction), Andrew Smith (Warner's Nurseries), and Peter Koren (Rock 'N Stone), on sub-committees to utilise their skills and enthusiasm.
LIAV would like to thank all candidates for nominating, they felt very fortunate to have had such a strong field of contenders for which the Association will only benefit.
LIAV also said a big thanks to outgoing President Hamish Mitchell who has served its board for three years, the last two as president, and Vice President Daniel Copsey from Ecoform who has had to relinquish his position with the collapse of Ecoform.
Lump Sculpture Studio converted its studio to a funky party room for the evening and everyone enjoyed the panel debate on Landscapes Vs Gardens, food by the Taco Truck and good company.
