Climate instability is a natural occurance of nature's course, and one that the nursery and garden industry is familiar with. This understanding and familiarity means the industry has the opportunity to make a significant impact on contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases and can also play a key role in combating climate change.
Over the past few years, projects funded by the National Nursery Levy have focused on effective water management, and the development of a carbon calculator and renewable energy calculator for production nurseries, among other themes that support the mitigation of climate change.
