Mt Buller & Mt Stirling
Mt Buller & Mt Stirling are both popular alpine destinations in Victoria. Across the resorts’ mountain bike, walking and cross-country trails, timber trail signage has been replaced with recycled plastic signs – chosen for their durability and environmental benefits.

Palm Cove
The Palm Cove esplanade, in Cairns, QLD is lined with shops, restaurants and resorts and is a hub of activity. Old timber posts along the walkway have been replaced with 445 recycled plastic bollards, complete with stainless steel caps, creating an elegant and contemporary look along the walkway.
Kristy Korevaar, Parks & Leisure Capital Project Officer at Cairns Regional Council said “we use recycled plastic products in a lot of council parks. Council prefer the longevity and low maintenance of the recycled plastic products.”
Rottnest Island
BHP Billition in partnership with the Rottnest Foundation volunteer organisation will implement the next section of the Rottnest Island Wadjemup Walk Trail, in WA.
Replas directional markers will guide the way along the Wadjemup Hill Trail and Daintree benches will be strategically places at resting points to allow walkers to take in the Island’s spectacular vistas.
The Rottnest Island Authority has also chosen to utilise Replas track markers as their bus stop totems. The 1.8m track markers are the perfect solution to Rottnest’s punishingly harsh environment.
