BEACH ACCESS MADE EASY

by Replas

Australia has thousands of kilometres of beautiful coastline, but for many access can be a problem. The Assisted Access Modular System provides the perfect solution.

The easy to install pre-fabricated modules are made at Replas from fully recycled material and are designed to connect using a simple pin system.

Bega Valley Shire Council in NSW decided to trial the system at Pambula Beach because they needed a design that was modular and semi-permanent.

Because the modules fit together so easily, installation time was extremely quick. In this trial, the entire pathway was installed by two men in a single day.

John Grady, Council Manager, Leisure and Recreation, said it was important to the council that the sections could “be easily packed up and stored in the event of forecast bad weather and for it to be easily maintained and re-laid if needed.”

This easy-to-install system provides a low-cost, long-lasting solution that is making navigation easier for wheelchairs, prams and surf life-saving equipment, opening up access along our coastlines.
