Timberwolf set a new benchmark for the contract planting industry when they completed Greenspine Drain in October 2014, one of their first major planting projects and an incredible example of the company’s potential. With a pack of just 10 planters Timberwolf installed 43,180 native tubestock across one weekend. The lead landscaping company JMac Construction was astounded. The production schedule for plant installation had been previously estimated as five to eight weeks, raising concerns there would not be enough time for plant establishment before the torrential summer rains. Timberwolf’s expertise across set out, transport and plant identification meant that JMac were able to confidently leave the planting aspect of the project entirely to Timberwolf.

“The Timberwolf team took the planting project entirely off of our hands,” Steve Falvey, JMac’s Project Manager reported. “We left at close of business Friday afternoon and returned Monday morning to over 43,000 plants in the ground. Most importantly, the quality of planting was exceptional.”

Two years on and the green corridor is thriving. Quality assurance is a major focus for Timberwolf. The team is committed to meeting individualised project specifications with care and pride. Quality audits and an in-depth training program further ensure impeccable quality across every single project.

The elite performance demonstrated on this project also delivered unprecedented savings to JMac. The condensed timeframe of just two days meant that water truck hire, supervisory costs and other labour hire costs were drastically reduced or negated, delivering unprecedented savings.

As one of the first projects undertaken by Timberwolf, Greenspine demonstrates what is possible with Timberwolf’s unbeatable team culture, astuteness and grit. Pushing beyond the constraints of labour hire, they have redefined contract planting across Australia.
