Cooking outdoors has always been a common sight in Australia. The BBQ is its most common form, although in the last decade we have seen it being transformed from the sizzle to the semi professional.

The Pizza oven is the second most common, likely due to the Pizza oven kits you can buy over the internet. They are relatively easy to put together and work very well.

There are many other forms of outdoor cooking devices. In the US and Europe it is a growing trend. In the US in particular, the trend is for fully fledged outdoor kitchens, complete with oven and cook tops as well as fire places.

These outdoor cooking areas can be semi enclosed, roofed or set in the greenery. In fact the only limitation is linked to ones creative flair.

The development of outdoor cooking is growing apace. Australia is very well placed to be at the forefront of this increasing trend.
