Outdoor Design Source E-News talks to Owner and Director of Eureka Landscapes, Jason McGarry about his successful career.
Jason McGarry joined Eureka Landscapes as their accountant 20 years ago. Within 10 years, Jason had become the Owner and Director.
Jason has helped Eureka Landscapes grow to its current 100+ employees and become an industry leader. This achievement has been acknowledged with his inclusion in the Landscape QLD Hall of Fame and AILA QLD’s Award for his commitment to partnering with the Landscape Architects Association.
Jason’s qualifications include: Bachelor of Business, UCQ; Graduate Diploma in Advanced Accountancy, QUT; Advanced Diploma in Horticulture; and Master Landscape Professional.
From the outset, Eureka Landscapes establishes a partnership with its clients to understand their design – not just the brief and the drawings, but their vision, their enthusiasm, their ethos and their creativity. The grasp of the overall project provides a sound basis for a well-planned and well-executed project.
Communication, collaboration and teamwork are vital to successful outcomes. Eureka Landscapes has highly trained employees with extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of landscaping.
"For a project to be really successful, it is about the relationship and partnering that is required to achieve the end result. Working together with the client, landscape architect and site construction personnel, all parties need to be focused on the same end result in order to achieve a truly successful project in functionality and quality. 85 per cent of our business is from repeat clients; this is why partnering is so important for Eureka Landscapes," says Jason.
Eureka landscapes is a member of Landscape QLD, QMBA, HIA and UDIA, and this attests to Eureka’s commitment to maintaining its accreditation, professional development, expertise and staying up to date.
Recent projects completed by Eureka Landscapes include: Brightwater Estate (Stockland) - which won the Million Dollar Plus category at the 2011 Landscape QLD Awards for Excellence; Inner Northern Busway (Leightons Contractors); and Brentwood Estate (Investa).
