RENOVATIONS MARKET HAS PLENTY TO SEE AT R+T AUSTRALIA 2014
13 Aug 2014
The renovations market will have plenty to see at R+T Australia 2014 – the first-ever event of its kind in the country. Don’t miss it!
With forecasts for the Australian building sector’s outlook showing activity to be substantially underpinned by growth in renovations over the next few years, the latest external building systems offer plenty of potential for cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions.
And Melbourne’s R+T Australia 2014 exhibition, to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from August 21-23, offers an ideal opportunity for designers, architects, builders, specifiers and owners to see the latest offerings in awnings, sun protection, windows and doors.
R+T Australia 2014 will be the country’s first-ever exhibition specialising in external building systems such as roller shutters, doors/gates, windows, and sun protection systems.
According to Exhibition Manager Thurain Aye, these external building systems have applications right across the building spectrum, from minor upgrades, through to major renovations, as well as for new constructions.
“The range of products we will have on display at R+T Australia 2014 will offer plenty of solutions to designers, owners and builders, not just of residential housing, but also of apartments, commercial and industrial buildings, and heritage developments,” he said.
“Whether the aim is to refresh or update a façade that may only be a few years old, to increase security and convenience of access, or to make a building more energy-efficient in these times of increasing temperature extremes and rising energy costs, R+T Australia will be presenting the products and solutions to help.
“We will have sun protection and climate management solutions on display with the potential to pay for themselves in just a few years from the resulting energy savings,” said Aye.
“And we’ll be showing innovative smart access systems for residential, commercial and industrial buildings that offer increased security and peace of mind, combined with more convenient access using the latest technology.”
Aye said many of the products on display would be appearing in Australia for the first time ever.
“In addition to leading Australian suppliers keen to show off their latest developments, we have attracted a wide range of overseas suppliers looking to establish themselves in the Australian market – giving exhibition visitors the opportunity to find out about innovative products and solutions they may not have been previously aware of.”
Backing up the products and services on display at R+T Australia is a line-up of speakers, including global experts, to discuss some of the latest international trends and developments at the show’s ExpeR+T Area presentations.
These will be held on the Thursday (August 21) and Friday (August 22) of R+T Australia.
