NGINA CELEBRATES
07 Dec 2016
The Nursery and Garden Industry NSW & ACT National Awards celebration took place last week, honouring nominees with the Association's top honours from a competitive field spread over 24 categories.
The Nursery and Garden community’s top organisations and outstanding individuals gathered together at Hawkesbury Racecourse on 25 November 2016 to celebrate the annual NGINA (Nursery and Garden Industry NSW & ACT) Awards.
The evening was comprised of a range of awards from the NGINA Awards of Honour, the NGI Industry awards for best businesses based on the National Awards criteria, and finally our popular Members Choice Awards. With a record number of nominations for the Members Choice Awards, the winners were voted on from a competitive field of entrants, all of whom demonstrate excellent business acumen.
Hosting the event was popular radio presenter, Phil Dudman. The awards ceremony took place at the Ted McCabe function centre, Hawkesbury Racecourse, Clarendon. Nursery industry figureheads joined the award finalists to celebrate outstanding success across 24 award categories.
A highlight of the night was Cameron’s Nursery winning the Environment Award for the third year running. In recognition of this momentous win, Cameron’s Nursery was entered into the Hall of Fame.
