FITNESS TRAILS - AN INTERNATIONAL FIRST

Fitness Trails celebrated three milestones this year - it's 21st birthday; production of more than 600 kits; and the extension of its export market.
Fitness Trails, the Australian company that pioneered ‘self-guided’ outdoor fitness equipment in the domestic market, celebrated three milestones this year: its 21st birthday; production of more than 600 kits; and the extension of its export market from Japan by breaking into the UK and USA market with its recycled plastic fitness systems - an international first.
The Exersites (a cluster of 15 activities) and fitness circuits are endorsed by peak health and fitness organisations and are located in parks and recreation areas, schools, tertiary institutions, resorts, residential and business developments, hospitals, defence installations and correctional institutions - in fact, anywhere where people want to work out.
The Fitness Trails systems, which are built and prefabricated in Melbourne, are shipped Australia-wide and overseas within four-six weeks and are installed by local contractors in less than a week.
Neil Gray, Fitness Trails Managing Director, said that the focus on environmental sustainability, community health challenges and the Federal Government’s Stimulus Package have all led to an up-turn in business that should carry through for at least the next 12 months.
