It's often hard to find the time to stay on top of industry trends, policies, case studies and new products and ideas but rest assured it'll all be on show in Melbourne at DesignBUILD 2010.
It’s often hard to find the time to stay on top of industry trends, policies, case studies and new products and ideas but rest assured as it’s all on show at DesignBUILD 2010.
The DesignBUILD seminar series, A Catalyst for Change, runs over the course of the three-day expo from June 23 – 25 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and each seminar carries 1 CPD point.
In a so called ‘information’ economy, it’s what you know and how fast you react in bringing new ideas to market that will differentiate your business and help it to succeed, even in tough markets.
Strong emphasis has been placed on providing you with big picture, and state of mind subjects, such as customer experience strategies, good design, green and sustainable building practises, developments and communities, that have the wherewithal to change market and workplace dynamics overnight.
The turning point for anyone attending the seminars will come from piecing together the information and using your new found knowledge as a catalyst for change in your business and your industry.
This year will also see the introduction of Foundations, a dedicated seminar supporting and honouring students and apprentices - our work force of the future.
This year, DesignBUILD is co-located with the Plumbing Design Show and CEDIA Expo and has attracted over 350 exhibitors who will showcase thousands of innovative products and ideas.
For trades and professionals who are keen to browse and compare new products in their own time, an entire section of DesignBUILD is dedicated to window displays of new products, called Innovation Alley.
Blackwood’s Tools of the Trade and the BPN/Infolink Applications in Action, feature interactive audience demonstrations and give trades and professionals the chance to see and use the newest products in the market, which will ultimately make your working life easier.
For those thinking of attending the expo, you can receive a free ticket if you register online prior to the expo at www.designbuildexpo.com.au/design. Simply enter registration code ODS. Bookings for the seminar series can also be made online.
