DesignBUILD Commercial will make an exciting return to Perth this year from November 3 – 5. Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the expo is expected to attract over 120 exhibitors, with over 4,000 visitors set to walk through to doors.
As an industry professional or trade – are you up to date with the latest regulations, products and ideas to better service your clients and build your business and portfolio?
DesignBUILD Commercial will proudly provide a dedicated platform for leading companies to showcase all that is new, innovative and sustainable in the building and construction industries.
Exhibition Manager Steve Horsley said the real appeal of DesignBUILD Commercial is the fact it is a one-stop-shop for busy industry professionals to be informed and inspired.
“It’s hard to find the time to stay ahead of competitors and on top of changing industry regulations in our fast paced world of technical innovation and continual policy reform.
“The feedback from DesignBUILD in Melbourne was fantastic, with attendees appreciative of a show that delivered relevant information, under one roof and in a well planned layout,” he said.
For busy professionals, registration is free online so there is no queuing at the door and the expo is categorised into convenient sections so you can visit the areas that appeal to you the most.
“With an ever increasing importance on sustainable building, green is a huge feature at DesignBUILD Commercial 2010 and for those interested, green products and ideas are bundled in the one convenient location.
“With Victoria setting a Six Star mandatory rating for all new homes and renovations as of May next year, along with a commitment of $60 million to bring government buildings, schools and hospitals up to the same high standard, sustainable building practices are must-know for all of the industry and the transition starts with access to information regarding what is available in the market,” he said.
A series of specifically designed CPD trade seminars for industry professionals on sustainable building will be held throughout the three days. All of the sessions carry CPD points for builders and architects and offer a fantastic opportunity to expand professional development. A full program of times and topics will be available from www.designbuildexpo.com.au
Showcasing products relative to vast commercial building interests, the show is a must attend event for those in the commercial property sector, mining industries and general building community.
If there was a better way to be designing and building more time-efficient, cost-effective, sustainable projects – shouldn’t you know about it?
