EverTuffâ„¢ is an Australian recycled resource that has been diverted from landfill and processed in an Australian extruding factory.
Evertuff™ is a composite wood/plastic beam made from Australian recycled co-mingled granulated materials that is extruded into useful profiles for the construction industry; these profiles have been tested and engineering data is now available for all consulting engineers.
Consulting Engineers now have the data to consider using EverTuff™ composite recycled plastic profiles for piles, posts, beams, bearers, joists, purlins and decking. It is now possible to use Australian-made EverTuff™ in structures such as pedestrian bridges, boardwalks, shelters, pergolas and viewing platforms.
EverTuff™ profiles:
- are strong
- love water
- can be driven
- can be bolted
- can be field-adjusted with woodworking tools
- can be painted
- can be extruded in long sections up to 6m.
EverTuff™ is an Australian recycled resource that has been diverted from landfill and processed in an Australian extruding factory. The extruding process ensures a constant grade of material, allowing quality control testing of output to engineering specifications.
EverTuff™ should not be compared with a moulded recycled product, which can contain voids. EverTuff™ is maintenance-free, resistant to being eaten by insects and will outlast the natural alternative product.
