Concrete pavers, large and small, by Stone Directions
1 August 2009
Stone Directions concrete pavers range from supersized units 1000mm long right down to mini cobbles 90mm square.
If you’re looking for a special concrete paver size that will differentiate your project from other predictable landscape designs, Stone Directions is your solution.
At the small end of the scale is the 90mm x 90mm x 40mm thick Pavilion Cobblestone. Jeremy Ferrier Landscape Architects recently used 17,000 cobbles in three colours (Chalk, Ash and Coalface) to give life to a coloured concrete driveway in a luxury apartment complex in Brisbane. The three colours were laid in a tightly detailed pattern, which not only gave strong visual relief but also served to delineate walkways and apartment entrances. The developer client was delighted with the result.
If you’re looking for large-scale pavers, Stone Directions has that covered as well. Two new supersized rectangular concrete pavers round out the range. The 1000mm x 300mm x 50mm is a long, slender paver that has a strong, directional feel. And the solid, chunky 800mm x 400mm x 40mm paver has a look of substance, but the rectangular format still maintains a contemporary upmarket feel.
Stone Directions has been manufacturing high-quality concrete pavers and landscaping products in Brisbane since 1987. In that time, it has supplied many satisfied customers, from Melbourne to Cairns and New Zealand. The company has a strong commitment to quality, which is reflected in its extremely high concrete strength of 60MPa (most other wet cast pavers are around 40MPa).
Stone Directions’s defining difference is best summed up in three words: style, technology, choice. To find out more contact:
