BUILD & DESIGN QLD EXPO
10 Apr 2012
Build & Design Queensland Expo. Held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 9-11 2012. This is a must-attend expo!
Outdoor design better with the Queensland climate in mind.
During an extended La Nina pattern over the past 12 to 24 months, Queensland in particular experienced unusual weather conditions, from deluges of rain and steamy hot weather to an unseasonably cool summer. The Queensland climate provides a raft of challenges for outdoor designers and specifiers who have to create inviting outdoor spaces that accommodate the sunny Queensland way of life, as well as preparing for cyclical wet weather patterns.
For outdoor designers, landscape architects, specifiers and industry professionals looking to balance these climate changes in Queensland residential and commercial buildings, it’s crucial to stay on top of the latest ideas, products and information; and this year it’s all on show at the Build & Design Queensland expo. Held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 9-11 2012, the expo will showcase the latest concepts in outdoor living and sustainable solutions, as well as a CPD-accredited seminar series set to inspire and excite industry professionals.
Exhibition manager, Michael-William Kelly, said Build & Design Queensland will feature suppliers, products and seminars specifically addressing Queensland’s design challenges, such as climate control, flood recovery and rebuilding concepts.
With rising energy costs, a turbulent weather pattern and the carbon tax, landscape architects, outdoor designers and specifiers must stay ahead of sustainable solutions, making Build & Design Queensland the must-attend expo.
