A ROBINSON BRIDGE — DESIGNED TO GO UNDERWATER
01 May 2009
A new three-metre-wide module has been added to the range of Robinson's pre-fabricated pedestrian/cyclist bridges.
The 2008 launch of Robinson Bridges to Engineers at LOGOV created great interest. The feedback generated meant adding a new three-metre-wide module to the range of Robinson’s pre-fabricated pedestrian/cyclist bridges.
Robinson Bridges can deliver and install multiple spans with engineer certification to your site. Every element meets AS 5100 Bridge Design Code with clever, patented, collapsible, hinged handrails. An easy install means less erosion. You can move bridge modules to other sites with little disturbance to banks. The module includes the cost of foundation design.
Councils impressed with simplicity
No longer does every bridge or river-crossing need individual design. Robinson Bridges are mass-produced and transported. You can effectively buy one or more “off the shelf” with engineer certification. Drop-down sides that facilitate heavy vehicles crossing are a plus. The bridges are loaded to 20Km (two tons).
Logan City Council has had five bridges installed and have used Robinson Bridges and Landscaping for more than 20 years.
Sustainability
Each bridge is made from low-maintenance, hot-dipped galvanized-steel with F27 hardwood deck, non-CCA-treated timber from sustainable forests.
