SYDNEY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FAIRY GARDEN

Alpine Nurseries was very pleased to support the recent transformation of the Fairy Garden at the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.  The makeover was carried out by Secret Gardens of Sydney and Alpine donated an array of plants for the project.

As well as giving the garden new life, the mosquito issue has been resolved along with improved access for wheelchairs and patients with I.V. poles.  There is also new seating, lighting throughout the garden and plenty of colour to give the space some glow.

The Fairy Garden re-opened on August 28, 2014. Peter Knox was thrilled to go along to the event and meet Fairy Sparkle and see the young patients enjoying their new space.  The hospital is excited with their new garden and the children have a fresh new area to play and recover.
