Industry Association: Environmental Business Australia
Association Profile
Environment Business Australia (formerly EMIAA) was founded in 1993. EBA is a pivotal forum and think tank for business leaders. Our Advocacy work promotes commercial solutions to environmental challenges and we reach far reaching policies to help re-shape the marketplace for clean and efficient technologies and smart systems and ideas. EBA has no political affiliation and is a peak body for the Australian environmental industry and cleantech sector. Environment Business Australlia’s top priority is to raise awareness about the scale and relevance of environmental challenges and to bring together business leaders and solutions. Water, land, air and atmosphere, habitats and biodiversity, human health and quality of life are affected by the production and comsumption of resources - at EBA, we focus on the efficient and smart technologies, systems and ideas that offer economic benefits without damaging the environment.
We do this through high level advocacy at national and state level and through research and co-operation with like-minded organisations and individuals throughout the rest of the world. We help shape government and industry policy and strategy as well as the commercial marketplace where our members do business. And we help remove the impediments facing innovations entry into the marketplace.
