For the third year running, local business and Australia’s only Carbon Neutral Nursery and Landscaper, Provincial Plants and Landscapes was the recipient of the prestigious Nursery and Garden Industry NSW & ACT 2012 Environmental Award.
The NGINA Awards represent the pinnacle of achievement in Australia’s horticultural industry, recognises 'the best in the business' and is bestowed on the business judged as having the highest level of positive environmental impact.
Upon receiving this triple crown, business owner Lisa Roberts said “we’re incredibly pleased with our achievement given we’re so passionate about the work we do and the way we do it, always striving to improve our green credentials - being recognised as ‘best of the best’ is the icing on the cake”.
This Award ‘trifecta’ is no fluke – Provincial are leaders in the nursery and landscaping industries and are proud to be contributing to our local economy, community and environment in a sustainable manner. “It’s fantastic that the judges and the NGIA acknowledge that green business is smart business and clearly believe in the ethos of Provincial as we believe in it ourselves” said Lisa.
After multiple State and National Awards, Provincial are now in the running for inclusion in the esteemed NGI Hall of Fame (announced in March 2012).
