Canberra's Commonwealth Park will burst into a sea of clolour during the Floriade Flower Festival from 17 September to 16 October . The theme for this Floriade is a feast for the senses. With more than a million flowers bloom on cue for Floriade your senses will be well and truly titillated. Last year over 460,000 and this year's fest is set to top that.
Floraiade isn't just about flowers, it's truly a smorgasbord of activities for the whole family. Be intrigued by the garden bed designs; captivated by the artistic entertainment; fascinated with the engaging exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops; enjoy family time with fun kids’ activities.

Take a fascinating trip back in time to discover the history of war time kitchens and gardens at the Australian War Memorial’s Victory Garden. This features plants grown by wartime Australian families during the Second World War.
There is a wealth of fun for families including Matilda's Farmyard, great kids’ programs, gnome painting and amazing creatures at the Riveting Reptile exhibitions. Be enchanted by the magic of Floriade NightFest including vivid light installations transofrming the Rhododendron Gardens with didital rain and a dramatic soundtrack. Dance to the sound of Latino musicon October 2 & 3 or runaway with the Cricus with Australian circus Artists and performers. Talkoz is the explosive musical finale to the festival on Sunday 16th OCtober.
